In this unit we see the use of course books and lesson materials. We first saw the differences between authentic and created materials. Then we looked at the advantages, disadvantages and how we can use the course book to suit our needs. We also were given guildelines on how we need to choose a course book.The ESA structure is a valuable model in teaching English learners. It proves to be a successful method and helps to actively engage students in material, and presses them to study the material. Teaching the students by using the boomerang ESA model will help improve their language abilities at a fast rate.
