Unit 5 is class management, I had learnt how to use eye contact, gesture and the voice in the classroom. Knowing the names of students would be very important especially when you acknowledge them.I have also learnt the different groupings of students, whole class grouping, pair work , group work and individual, these groupings are all depends on which activity you want the students to do. Classroom arrangement or seating arrangement will depends on how big is the class, how the students known each other, nationality, age of the students. Giving instructions is very important on how you can make it effective. And in order to make the class successful and enjoyable, the rapport between the teacher and students plays an important role.You should know the behavior of the students, whenever there will be a disciplinary problems that will occur, you know what to do and maintain discipline.
