The unit did a great job breaking down the components and the basic structure of an english sentence. As native english speaker it easy to identify if a sentence is correct by listening the complete sentence. However, now that I am refreshed about terminology used in english grammar it will me easier to explain the structure to a non-native speaker.The unite has given me an overview on how to introduce new words to the students and how to classify them. Many students can't differentiate between the words and end up making errors in writing, speaking and spelling. When teaching part of speech, it's crucial to be organized and teach everything in sequence rather than mix up all the words together.
