TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - Ema

Ema is from Slovenia and has recently finished the 120-hour course with ITTT. In this TEFL review video, Ema discusses how the course did a good job of combining the practical and theoretical side of English language teaching. Ema points out that teaching English requires the teacher to put a lot of their own work into the job and recommends this course as a good starting point.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit was very interesting. I had never heard of the Business English/ English for Specific Purposes (ESP) but I think it is very interesting. The example of the needs analysis that was given was very good and I would definitely use it in future lesson planning. There were lots of good tis for how to teach students of different ages and levels. This unit was about vocabulary, grammatical structures, sentence functions, and how to teach them to students. I learned of various methods that can be used in each section of the ESA model to more efficiently teach students about vocab, grammar, and sentence functions. At the end of this unit, there were examples of ESA lesson focusing on grammar.
