In this chapter I learned about the two productive skills, speaking and writing. I learned which activities should be controlled and which shouldn't to ensure accuracy at the correct times and also promote independence at the right times. I also learned good examples of how to accurately teach a straight arrow lesson and the benefits of doing so.In unit 13 I learned the different types of Intonation. The most common intonation is the Rise/Fall. Rise/Fall is used for positive and negative statements, questions, greetings, and instructions. Fall/rise is the most second common indicates surprise often disagreement but the speaker actually wants a response to the person they were talking to.
